The Institute of COMPANY SECRETARIES of India (ICSI)is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of COMPANY SECRETARIES in India. After 12th class, interested student in law field must take up ICSI COMPANY SECRETARY EXECUTIVE TEST (CSEET). The duration of CSEET is four to five months. The syllabus of CSEET comprises of the following four parts :-
PART 1 :- BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (50 MARKS)
PART 2 :- LEGAL APTITUTE & LOGICAL REASONING AND QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE (70 MARKS)
PART 3 :- ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT (50 MARKS)
PART 4 :- CURRENT AFFAIRS (30 MARKS)
The new syllabus shall comprise of an EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME (SEVEN PAPERS) & (SEVEN PAPERS) at
PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME, including electives under the ICSI syllabus (2022). After passing the CSEET exam student may enroll in ICSI CS EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME. As per the official website of the ICSI (ICSI.EDU). CS EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME exams are conducted at center based only
As per new syllabus of ICSI 2022, EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME are divided into two groups :-
GROUP 1 = There are four following Subjects :-
- Jurisprudence, Interpretation & General Laws (100 Marks)
Company Law & Practice :-
- Part 1= Company law – Principles & Concepts (60 marks)
- Part 2= Company Administration & Meetings (40 marks)
Setting Up of Business, Industrial & Labour Laws :-
- Part 1= Setting Up of Business (60 marks)
- Part 2= Industrial & Labor Laws (40 marks)
Corporate Accounting and Financial Management :-
- Part 1= Corporate Accounting (60 marks)
- Part 2= Financial Management (40 marks)
Group 2 = There are three following subjects :-
Capital Market & Securities Laws
- Part 1= Capital Market (40 marks)
- Part 2= Securities Laws (60 marks)
Economic, Commercial and Intellectual Property Laws
- Part 1= Economic & Commercial Laws (60 marks)
- Part 2 = Intellectual Property Laws (40 marks)
Tax Laws & Practice
- Part 1 = Direct Tax (60 marks)
- Part 2 = Indirect Tax (40 marks)
Duration of each paper is 3 hours.
As per new syllabus of ICSI 2022, PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME are also divided into two groups :-

- Part 1= Drafting and Conveyancing (70 marks)
- Part 2= Pleading and Appearances (30 marks)
Compliance Management, Audit & Due Diligence:-
- Part 1= Compliance Management (40 marks)
- Part 2= Audit & Due Diligence (60 marks)
Elective 1 :-
CSR & Social Governance:-
- Part I – Corporate Social Responsibility (50 Marks)
- Part II – Social Governance (50 Marks)
Internal and Forensic Audit:-
- Part I – Internal Audit (60 Marks)
- Part II – Forensic Audit (40 Marks)
Intellectual Property Rights – Law & Practice (100 Marks)

Goods and Services Tax (GST) & Corporate Tax Planning :-

Labour Laws & Practice (100 Marks)
Banking & Insurance – Laws & Practice :-
- Part I – Banking Laws (50 Marks)

Mode of examination is descriptive, for elective papers = descriptive and open book.
Duration of each paper is 3 hours.

COMPARISON :-
EXECUTIVE :- In old syllabus, out of 8 papers, 5 are descriptive and 3 are MCQ. But In new syllabus, out of 7 papers, 6 papers are descriptive but 20% case based objective type questions
PROFESSIONAL :- In old syllabus, there are 9 papers. 8 papers are descriptive out of 9 but 1 paper is open book exam and descriptive also, Now, in new syllabus, there is papers 7 papers. 5 papers are descriptive and 2 papers are open book exam and descriptive also.
MY EXPERIENCE TILL NOW :-
IN 2021 , DUE TO COVID-19 MY 12TH CBSE BOARD EXAMS WERE CANCELLED AND I M PASSED AS PER MY PERIVOUS PERFORMANCES . AFTER MY 12TH RESULT I M NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHICH FIELD I CAN PROCEED FURTHER , I HAVE LOT OF DOUBTS .
• BUT, AFTER BEING 3 – 4 MONTHS OF CONFUSION , I MET MY BROTHER AFTER LONG TIME AND HE CAME AS A RESCURER IN MY
LIFE . HE TOOK MY DOUBTS & CONFUSION SERIOUSLY AND HE SUGGESTED ME TO DO A COMPANY SECERTAITE (CS) .
• AND , HE ALSO SUGGESTED MY THE BEST COACHING FOR MY ENTERENCE OF CS i.e. CSEET EXAM IS CS NKJ CS CLASSES (NITISH
KUMAR JAISWAL SIR ) .
• I STARTED PREPARING FOR MY CS ENTERENCE EXAMS AND I STUDIED AROUND 8-9 HOURS A DAY . MY GAVE MY FIRST ATTEMPT IN MAY 2022 WHICH WAS POSTPONED TO JULY 2022 DUE TO TECHNICAL GLITCH AND IN JULY 2022 I GAVE MY CSEET EXAMS WITH MY BEST EFFORT
• AFTER 10 DAYS , MY RESULT WERE OUT AND I CRACKED IT !! THAT TIME I FEEL SO OVERWHELMED.
• AFTER THIS I ENTERED IN MY CS EXECTIVE PROGRAMME , I FEEL BLESSED THAT AGAIN I AM UNDER THE GUIDANCE NITISH SIR AND I ASSURE THAT I WILL DO MY BEST AGAIN .
